AS LONG AS THERE'S CHRISTMAS

Christmas is an annual significant occasion that joins and strengthens the relationship of people to their love ones, friends and especially with GOD.

Every time Christmas would come people are expected to be hanging colorful decorations, hanging out with their friends and family, giving gifts, endless greetings and together they will attend the Holy Mass.
What a great sight!!! But it is not always as significant for the others because of their endless problems whether its about family, business, love and others. They forget everything about Jesus Christ's day of birth and a thought in their minds will outgrow that God has forsaken them. In this season may we have the time to relax, enjoy and feel the spirit of Christmas. We all know that time is GOLD but we should remember that there is always a time for everything because everything is going on according to plan so, TAKE TIME!!!!Christmas is not about what you receive its all about what you give. Some celebrate Christmas in grandeur but millions of people around the world don't celebrate Christmas because of the extreme poverty but they are still fighting for they know that God is with them. They store in their minds that as long as they stuck with each other and live their lives with the GLORY OF LOVE, HARMONY OF JOY AND PRESENCE OF SIMPLICITY.
Lastly, let us all remember that Christmas is the season for LOVE. It doesn't matter whether we are rich or poor at least the feeling of CALMNESS,LOVE,PEACE,JOY and FORGIVING is present not only this season but through the rest of our lives.

VIGAN CITY MEET 2009

The Vigan City Meet is an annual event that gives other school's the opportunity to compete with other schools in the field of sports.

Its a great honor for me because it's my first time to be part of the MEDICAL TEAM or should i say we give first aid to the injured athletes. Our group's duty is to take charge in the Volleyball game and luckily we didn't just enjoy watching the steamy hot and great matches but there are no cases of athletes after all. Infact our first case was not an athlete for the reason that she had a cat fight with some other group of girls while they were watching the Boxing match.
I had such a great time serving others voluntarily and I also enjoyed watching the games that were held in our school.

ITS GETTING HOTTER IN HERE!

NO DOUBT!as the school year goes forward my schedule getting more hectic and I'm starting to love it;)
2nd grading period has gave me a lot of opportunities and lessons. The challenges inspired me to strive more on my studies. Many activities had been done. I had joined the Search for MR. and MS. STEP 2009 but unfortunately I didn't win(yehey!).Its just okay at least it had opened a lot of doors for me. Intermissions here and there, and my INTRAMURALS 2009 was a BOMB!!! I enjoyed it because I really felt the excitement and the thrill, especially when we performed our cheerdance exhibition,OMG!my crush was there watching me shaking my ass like yeah!!!(toinx!!!nyahahaha;) I have proved myself that the spotlight and the stage were really meant for me(hehehe) Still, time management is my problem because of the hectic and brain twisting schedules. But, everything went well and it's a nice thing that I have met new sets of freshly heaven sent friends and i discovered new stuffs.
I am now facing the second to the last quarter and hopefully there will be no problems and how I wish that I'll be able to manage my time wisely;)

"MY TEACHER,MY HERO"

WHEN I AM DOWN
AND FEELING SO LONELY
YOU STAYED AROUND
AND MADE ME THE BEST

I AM A DREAMER
AND YOU ARE THE KEY
A GREAT MOLDER
SO THAT I CAN BECOME THE PERSON I WANNA BE

FOR EVERY OBSTACLE I HAVE TO FACE
YOU WERE THERE TO GIVE ME COURAGE
THE THOUGHTS FROM YOU THAT I HAD EMBRACED
WERE GOOD LESSONS AND TONS OF KNOWLEDGE

BECAUSE OF YOU I AM PREPARED
AND MY FUTURE IS NOW SECURED
I THANK YOU FOR THE MIND THAT YOU HAD REPAIRED
AND THE DARKNESS IN MY HEART THAT YOU HAD CURED

I REALLY AM SO PROUD OF YOU
AND THERE ARE MANY THINGS I WANNA DO
YOU ARE MY TEACHER,MY GREAT GREAT TEACHER
HOW I WISH THAT YOU WOULD STAY HERE FOREVER

ADAPTING THROUGH DIVERSE SCIENCE CULTURE FOR DEVELOPMENT

Changes, this is one of the answers on how come that the past is not constant. Some ask themselves, “What will change bring to us?”
Scientists are good explorers. They are the main reason on the changes that are happening right now which has a huge effect on our way of living and beliefs. The people then are easily contented on what they have. Million years later, people started to explore which we can call scientist. A bunch of new inventions, technology and laws made knowledge more advance, until they reach the highest peak of goal, ”Making things more convenient.”
This goal challenged the minds of the present people to strive more on their studies and researches. Advanced knowledge turned into application and now what we call technology. These technologies are now rare in the field of medicine, arts, communication and business. People who are aware of this are certified SCIENTISTS. They adapted the diverse science culture and until now, their wings are flapping and soaring through endless miles and in the end it will lead us to development.
Many have been helped and many more will be helped. For science is not just GOLD it’s PLATINUM.

IT'S UNTO US

“Katarungan Para sa Bayan!” These are the words being shouted by our heroes and ancestors during their fight for justice and freedom.

Different colors, religion, beliefs, cultures and race had colonized our country. Many languages had dominated and changed the people in their manners, attitude and their way of living. In spite of all these languages that flew in the different regions of our country, our own language, Filipino, still managed to maintain its position as the main medium of communication here in the Philippines because of the efforts and hardworks of our heroes just to promote and maintain the usage of the Filipino language in our country.

But as time passed by, more languages came and it has a huge effect to our country. Many people almost have their noses bleeding due to the un-understandable foreign languages. They believe that these languages will ensure them a brighter future, especially the English language. It is considered as the most widely used language in the world. In business agreements, English is needed. In applying for jobs. English is required. In communicating with other people especially on our campus, English is needed. English, English, English…

Are we just gonna settle down and leave the Filipino language be rotten by scavengers?

The choice is unto us, whether the language that reveals our colorful identity or those languages that makes our noses bleed but will give us brighter future?

LET'S JOT IN

Tiring, Strenuous, Hectic but totally Fun, these are the words that describes my 1st Grading Period. There are so many things that needed accomplishments and managing my time is really hard but behind all those challenges, I have learned a lot. I have participated several contests like the Nutri-Quiz and General Info Quiz, but unfortunately I haven’t won but still, I have that hope and I believe someday that I will win. At first I thought adjusting with our new set of teachers and classroom would be hard but after several weeks of being together it’s worth it!

Dealing with higher level education is really a hard thing to do especially in Mathematics, Physics and MAPEH. On these subjects I have become attentive, witty and careful. Equations here and there! Gosh! It drizzle’s my brain. On our TLE class everything have gone smooth and nice for me. In short, all of our teachers were good. I came to realized that there is no such thing as hard if I’ll just focus on it,everything is at ease. Like in Physics and Math, I gave full attention so that I would understand well. Learning the El Filibusterismo is a magnificent. And exploring the cyberworld is so much fun.
I classified all of these as partial challenges because I know that the remaining grading periods will be more harsh, challenging and surely enjoying. I also find these challenges as my key for bigger rooms wherein my world would become a battlefield and a place of struggle. With these sacrifices and struggles, I know I will be able to open the door for me where success is waiting.
Before my 1st Grading Period would end. I will do better this coming 2nd Grading Period. I will be more industrious and I will do my best to manage my time. Money, it is a big thing so I will save a lot so that I will have enough financial support for my projects and other necessities through the rest of the school year.

IT’S ALRIGHT, IT’S OKAY!

The English and Filipino has been a very big issue. We can see a great discrimination between the two of them. English has almost dominated all the people in our country.
In fact, not only here in the Philippines but all over the world. It is the medium to success and peace among other nations.

In school, we are being practice to speak in English and Filipino because it is required, and this is a campaign launched by the English and Filipino Department. English is a universal language and Filipino is local,in this way we will be able to enrich and develop our vocabulary, grammar and fluency in speaking these languages.Although we are more aware in using our ILOKO dialect,it is required for us Ilocanos to learn and master the English and Filipino language. This campaign is a good idea and it can make the discrimination between these two become equal.

Another thing I can say is that,we have the right to choose whatever language we are we are comfortable.English makes us globally competitive and Filipino makes us locally patriotic .Confused? There are proper usage for these both so why not balance? Besides, its not being updated but its in the application so, IT”S ALRIGHT AND DEFINITELY OKAY!

MOMENTUM ALA FESTIVAL

July, this is the month where our school celebrates the Nutrition Month. There are many activities to be done and so many contests to join with. The Food Festival is one of the highlights of the celebration, were every school year level has their own specific day of the week to sell their nutritious and beneficial food products. The good thing about it is that we don't just enjoy the nutritious and delactably delicious foods but our entrepreneurship skills are also being developed.(Well, that's enough for the intro;) For us 4th Year students our scheduled day of selling is last Thursday ,July 16, 2009.The Food Festival started last Monday,July 13.During the festival,my role is to convince the students to buy our Pineapple Shake. It really is a good job because i had the chance to endorse and conversate with students whom I dont know. The whole place was like the typical view of the public market because of the noise of the rushing students to buy their snacks. The selling tables were all surrounded by curios students asking,"What is that and how much is it?"because i have noticed that some of the delicacies and foods displayed were made uniquely. After doing my role, I roamed around the place to buy also for my snack, I really enjoyed enjoyed eating the cheeserolls, banana split and the even the Aruzcaldo. They were tasty and nutritious. The bell rang and we have to clear the place so that we can attend our next class. The remaining cups of the shake were bought by my classmates and even me, it is so sweet and I like it. We expected that the next day would be the grand selling day but unfortunately typhoon Isang landed to us causing the strong wind and heavy pour of rain. The said spot to substitute the original selling place was unavailable, so we just sold the pineapple shake inside the classroom for us to enjoy it eventhough it's a chilly day still it is in demand. It really is a nice moment for me and the others because we have proved that we didn't only showcased the importance of good nutrition and right foods to eat but we can also be little entrepreneurs.
